The U.S. government is now recommending Americans wear cloth face coverings.Reuters is reporting that the recommendation is still on a voluntary basis, though.The suggestion has been offered as a way to stem the spread of the coronavirus.However, quickly after the recommendation, Trump added that he himself would not use one.Trump then stressed that the new recommendation should not be seen as replacing social distancing.Distancing measures are considered key to slowing the outbreak.Coronavirus has now claimed more lives in New York state than the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
